“ Visited as a family group of 5 and everyone had nothing but good things to say on the journey home. Already showing signs of improvement since the recent takeover, particularly with presentation. Manager stated their plans to introduce a few more steak and seafood dishes with an onus on local, fresh sourced ingredients. Will definitely be back to sample the new menu whenever it gets launched. The drinks selection was limited but I'm sure this is something they will address. Images are the brie starter and beef burger with added haggis and cheese. Both very tasty. Only slight negative was the bun was a bit dry/stale ”

“ Amazing meal, had 3 courses and alcohol. I can’t fault it. My main was the battered fish and chips which was excellent with a perfect batter, crisp and very tasty and not greasy. You can see why it was busy. ”

The food was superb and plentiful, and very well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful and willing to chat as well as serve. The prices are slightly more expensive than those under previous owners, but well worth it. I've no hesitation in recommending the "new" Coronation Inn. ”
